This qualification provide competencies to supervise selection,installation, commissioning maintenance. p>
Any Individual that wishes to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation ( CPR) and basic emergency life support. Electricians working with high voltage should consider undertaking this training.
This unit is delivered in combination and comprises of an online portion and an in class practical portion. Individuals must complete the online exams prior to attending the practical assessment at the class.
Participants will be provided with the necessary learning material to assist with the completion of the mandatory online assessment.
The practical session includes demonstration, practice and assessment of skills including the confirmation of knowledge gained in the online learning. Participants must be able to demonstrate competence on manikin. Practical sessions are generally on a Friday morning. Date and time will be confirmed with the learner.
Due to the potential risk to health and safety where a nominated first aider, or worker with duty of care, does not have the ability to perform resuscitation and/or first aid to the performance standard required, it will not be appropriate to issue a statement of attainment to students who are physically unable to meet the assessment requirements.
If successful in all assessment’s participants will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment.
