The UEE31220 - Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control is classified as a Class B qualification under the Vocational Education and Training act 1996 (the Act) S60I(2). A current ‘Unrestricted Electricians’ licence and evidence of past instrumentation work experience is mandatory. The candidate must submit evidence of prior learning which will be verified by Tech Skills Australia before the student can enroll for this qualification.
Evidence of sufficient past Instrumentation experience is mandatory. The candidate will be issued with a RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) kit together with a Registration and Work Recognition (RWR) form documenting hours of past instrumentation experience prior to enrolment. A minimum number of hours of instrumentation field experience is required prior to undertaking this qualification. It is a mandatory requirement that your work experience is authenticated by the supervisor or person responsible at the time the work experience was achieved and as stated on the RWR document. You will also be required to complete a series of challenge testing to ascertain your Instrumentation knowledge before the qualification can be awarded.
