This nationally recognized training is aimed at qualified Electricians who would like to gain exposure in or enhance their PLC, HMI and Process instrumentation skills giving them the edge to enter into the Oil and Gas Industry or any industry of preference. Learn how the PLC interfaces with field instrumentation, how to select, install, commission, fault find and maintain electrical instrumentation.
This qualification provides competencies to select, install, commission, fault find and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment in buildings and premises and instrumentation systems and core instrumentation equipment for process and control.
Applicants must hold a current Unrestricted Electricians Licence for full qualification or hold UEE30811 Cert III in Electrotechnology - Electricians to achieve a SoA (Statement of Attainment)
Theory and practical training.
UEENEEG105A - Those holding an ‘Unrestricted Electricians Licence’ or equivalent issued in an Australian State or Territory meets the requirements of this unit and its pre-requisite requirements.
All units’ annotated “Electricians license” will be Credit Transferred. (http://training.gov.au/Training/Details/UEE40411)
